She teaches various pre-retirement and money management classes for General Motor, is a frequent guest speaker at In-Service Training sessions for State of Michigan employees, and is a guest presenter for Clemson University's Professional Development for Women Conference.
Prior to founding Financial Independents, Inc., Kathy was the Senior Vice President with a private money management firm. Past experiences also include the Sales Manager of an investment services program for a large mid-Michigan bank, and Financial Consultant for a national financial planning company.
